Shahran Kangavari’s path to the legal profession began when his family fled persecution and arrived in the United States as refugees. This formative experience instilled in him a profound appreciation for due process and principled advocacy—tenets that have become the cornerstone of his practice.
Today, he channels that commitment into his work as an experienced civil litigator, fighting for clients in high-stakes disputes. Before founding Brightwood Law Group, PC, Mr. Kangavari represented numerous clients at several prominent plaintiff-side law firms in Southern California. Mr. Kangavari has a proven record of success against large corporations and well-funded legal teams, securing millions of dollars on behalf of his clients.

Prior Education
Mr. Kangavari earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Policy, Management, and Planning from the University of Southern California. Prior to entering law, he worked in the real estate sector, gaining valuable insight into business operations and transactions. He later attended Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he was awarded the prestigious Alumni Scholar Scholarship. He graduated in May 2018 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in December of that same year.
