Before signing a severance agreement, I wanted a lawyer to make sure nothing was absurd. On a Monday, I reached out to one firm who recommended Sol’s services. They sent her the information about my situation and within 3 hours, she reached out to me to confirm what I needed.

She was warm, walked me through the process / next steps, and said she would be able to talk to me about her findings on Thursday or Friday. However, I will be out of town and the employer-provided window to sign the agreement was really tight. She understood and said if I was willing, she could talk me through the findings the next day (Tuesday) after the usual work hours so I could meet the tight deadline and not worry about the severance agreement situation while I am out of town.
